Teaching the way of Master Mitsusuke Harada

National Course: Kent

Overview

Summer School Registration is open!

You are of course warmly invited to Summer School 2022 at University of Kent! This year make sure you are 1 of the 100!
When we get to the 100 attendee target, one lucky winner of the 1st 100 to book will receive their Summer school fee back! Just don't grass us to the lotteries commission.

Expect a week of exhaustion and elation! For those who have not experienced it before, think of the intensity of a weekend course over an entire week. Throw in the chance to build practice partnerships to challenge you and push your level up, some different ideas, and you have a course estimated last year to be worth over 10 weeks of practice.
There is also a good social atmosphere and the occasional tipple if you are that way inclined. On the last night we have a formal dinner - We intend to hold as part of this a Memorial for Sensei

We will also have our usual sports therapists/masseuses headed up by Polly to tend with the usual leg aches from an intense week of practice and as the more experienced members can testify, well worth it!
If for travel reasons you would like a room before the course starts on Friday August, or to stay an extra night on Saturday of August, this will be booked for an additional £30 per night.
Prices are being kept as low as possible - karate chopped to the bone you could say at:
£280 for complete summer school novices;
£300 for Kyu grades and students;
£320 for black belt non-students.

Registration and payment is through the new KDS website by Paypal (guests can thus use card payment, if they do not as yet have a Paypal account).
Closing date for booking is going to be 14th July to allow for rooms to be booked and suitably allocated by Ali. Bookings after this cause extra unnecessary administration, so please book early! We look forward to seeing you and all having a rewarding week!
Please book now so that we can ensure a smooth operation, and to ensure you are one of the 100!
