The Karate-do Shotokai (KDS) organisation has been in existence in the Cardiff area for well over 30 years.
The club follows the teachings of Mitsusuke Harada, the first karate instructor resident in the UK who is now 82 years young and still practising and who now lives in South Wales. Cardiff KDS comes under the umbrella of his organisation the KDS who organise a year long calendar of courses of events nationally and internationally. As you gain more experience you will have regular opportunities to train with members from other UK clubs or travel to overseas courses.
Present members of Cardiff KDS have travelled all over the world, teaching in the USA, Japan, Finland, Estonia, Spain, Gibraltar, France, to name a few.
